Embarrassing Moment at the DNC

At the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union The Democratic National Convention, an embarrassing voice vote on a platform amendment goes awry until the chairman simply ignores the 2/3rds rule and decides it's good enough.

Some conservatives are arguing that the Democrats are booing the insertion of Dog into the platform, but I suspect that that was not nearly as offensive as the recognition of Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel...

  2. I guess you dont believe in GOD since you surely must have seen your misprint or was it a misprint? You are either extremely ignorant or a liberal media lackey.

  3. Last I checked what a nation chooses to do about its capital is none of the Democratic Party's business. Has no place in the platform. Last I checked this nation was founded squarely and indisputably upon the principle of secularity. God has no place in a political party's platform. Period. End of story.

I'd like see an end to the closing remark "God Bless America" after every politician's speech too. Or switch it up once in a while -- Baal Bless America, El Bless America, Elohim Bless America, Deus Bless America, Divus Bless America, I am that I am Bless America... but preferably, cease with the practice altogether.

    1. Just to clarify, you wrote "Last I checked what a nation chooses to do about its capital is none of the Democratic Party's business." I'm not sure if you meant capital (as in capitalism) or capitol as in the building where the legislature meets.

  4. Or how about a blessing from God's consort every now and again? Lady-God bless America, Elat bless America, Asherah bless America, Atirat bless America, Qaniyatu Ilhm bless America, Asertu bless America...

  5. Uh yeah. I hang my head in shame. I did mean capitol with an "o" - unforgivable. Thank you for correcting me! :) How about eliminating theism from public life? If only. If only the Democratic Party would embrace the concept - I may be coaxed into continuing my support for them. Declaring and defending secularity would be a bold move and an indicator that they are on the right track despite being on the wrong one now. I'm not holding my breath.
