In this case, it's Real Retail and Food Services Sales and Total Nonfarm Payrolls. Weakness in one, leads to weakness in the other. Have you ever seen such a clear proof of demand-side economics? Can we put the supply-side away for now and focus on things that work? Like getting people employed and buying stuff again? Please????
