It's fun to play with numbers, but you really should know what you're doing when you do.  America's GDP is approximately $15 TRILLION...  Kind of puts this in perspective.

• $2,000,000 / $15,000,000,000,000 = 0.000013% (this is 7% of GDP / year)
• $73,900,000 / $15,000,000,000,000 = 0.004927%
• $269,735,000,000 / $15,000,000,000,000 = 1.798233% (1 year's interest: Cheap Money!)
  

People don't realize the size of the US economy.  And while the total debt is troubling as a percentage of GDP, our situation post WWII was worse and we managed to cut grow our way out of it.
